Oliver, age 10
My favorite highlights were the singing and the tour of Sunset Center.
PS  I wish the Bach Academy was every day of the year!

Aneesa, age 11
I thought it was interesting that Bach never left Germany.

Amanda, age 11
I think that Bach’s music is important because it is good for the soul and I think Bach’s music touches every soul that hears it.

Miguelina, age 12
I really like playing the harpsichord. It was really fun. It was really cool to think that Bach played this instrument over three hundred years ago.
I also thought it was interesting how Bach wrote all that music in a lifetime of only 65 years.  That’s just amazing!

Michael, age 9
I think it is a big deal for Bach’s songs to go into outer space on the Voyager.

Audra, age 9
I enjoyed the tour of Sunset Center and sitting on stage where the famous singers of Carmel Bach Festival sat.  I must admit, I also enjoyed shopping at the music boutique!

Micholay, age 12
Playing the Orff instruments was my favorite activity.
I could really particicpate in the music, play my instrument, and have fun at the same time.

Evan, age 13
Bach’s music is important because he influenced musicians by playing harpsichord with all five fingers and just wrote great music!

Emilio, age 12
It was interesting how he died and that he was not able to finish The Art of the Fugue.

Eain, age 8
Bach’s music makes me feel good!

Ryan, 14
Bach’s music is important because it is wonderful, compassionate, and unforgettable!

Sarah, age 12
My favorite activity was Baroque dancing because I love dancing. I really felt I was a Baroque dancer back in that time.
