We are happy to have a new address on the internet. Please bookmark this site!

The mission of the Bach Academy is to nurture children in the appreciation of the music, life, and times of the great composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

Begun in 2006, the Academy is open to all students who have an interest in learning about Bach’s music and life.

Bach Academy 2009 included a staff of four instructors and two full time volunteer assistants and forty-five students, ages eight through fourteen, from diverse backgrounds throughout Santa Cruz County.

Musician and non-musicians alike are welcomed, and no student is turned away for lack of funds – we give full scholarships and partial scholarships.
